| Learn more at Alaska Railfanning! The Spirit of Anchorage leads a 5000' freight train south through Portage on its way to Seward and a waiting barge. Train movements in the winter are much less frequent than they are during the summer here in Alaska, so it's always a treat to catch one when the sun is actually out/above the horizon and you actually have time off to chase it! |
