If it weren't for the lack of a nose logo, one would be hard pressed to believe this image wasn't taken prior to the merger of the BN and Santa Fe. Today, the Ottumwa Sub is nowhere near as busy as it once was, and the constant parade of clean Executive Mac's is no longer a daily occurrence. Either way, an eastbound train of Powder River loads roll under the TransCon at Cameron on a beautiful morning in central Illinois.
