The annual US Marine Corp. Toys for Tots train on the Canadian Pacific's Delaware & Hudson subsidiary was in jeopardy of not running this year after no passenger equipment could be found early on. Amtrak stepped up and provided Phase III P40 822 and a 6-car set, including 1221 – Heritage Baggage, 82665 – Amfleet Coach, 43371 – Amfleet I Café, 82599 – Amfleet Coach, 10021 – Heritage Sleeper “Pacific Cape” and the 10001 – Business Car “Beech Grove”. The train is actually northbound in this image with the Amtrak equipment in reverse and hauled by D&H GP38-2 7312 with CP SD40-2 5690 along Lake Champlain in Port Henry, NY.
