| Here we see the Valley Railroad's "New Haven" No. 3025 at the grade crossing north of the station of Deep River CT while pulling the 5PM section of the "North Pole Express." Back in the shiny cars hundreds of very happy children are aboard enjoying their hot chocolate while eagerly awaiting Santa coming down the aisle. I too have been eagerly awaiting as well only I wanted to see 3025. As long suffering RP members know, this is the first steam locomotive I have ever had a hand in its restoration and it has been over a year since I last saw her. I willingly admit my contribution was most minimal; still you don't forget your first time. |
