Head end of a long coal train parked outside Mojave, CA. Red lights lending a Christmas aura to the scene are from the wind turbines that surround the area. There are hundreds, and the lights all flash on and off simultaneously. It is rather eerie, actually.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
