In at Tolland On October 22, 2012, an eastbound coal train is slowing to a stop at the east end of Tolland siding on Union Pacific’s Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. A former SP AC4400CW is on the point, and the three mid-train DPUs can be seen in the curve, as the train will wait here for Amtrak No. 5. The beautiful Continental Divide of the Rocky Mountains, which includes James Peak that the 6.21-mile Moffat Tunnel burrows beneath, dominates the background.
