Well you haven't seen this in about 25 years. An NS GP38-2 on the old Cincinnati Northern south of Cecil, Ohio. After working at Lafarge Cement the Napoleon, Defiance and Western crew heads back north to Cecil to tie up for the day. Part of the former Maumee and Western, Pioneer Rail is leasing Norfolk Southern power for the ND&W until their own power arrives. NS Sold this line to the Indiana Hi Rail in 1989 who then went bankrupt, the line then went to the Maumee and Western in 1997 and then on December 28, 2012 became a part of Pioneer Railcorp and is now operated as the Napoleon, Defiance and Western. This was taken just after sunset and may be the only time you will ever see this as PREX power is expected to arrive any day.
