| Rolling through the former St. Johnsbury yard site that once hosted trains from Canadian Pacific Railway, Maine Central, and the St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County RR, Vermont Rail System's Washington Co. Railroad train NPWJ still sees much of the same scenery from that period. Many structures in town have seen upgrades and changes but most have retained their original integrity. The building on the left is a new addition to the original Canadian Pacific Railway station (visible above the newer brick addition). VTR GP40-2 308 and CLP GP40-2 306 ease the rare Saturday run through town. |
