Remarks & Notes
A pair of EMD SD40s and two GE C30-7s lead Union Pacific's Sharp, Utah - Valmy, Nevada coal train east by the Herriman style Spanish Fork depot in southern Utah County. When UP closed the freight agency here in the early-1970s, the building became the Brandt Hall of the Old Timer's Club. In recent times, the structure has sat abandoned and in disrepair for more than 20 years. Note the old trainorder semaphore moved from the mainline to a location near the freight dock.
