| BN 4366, 6425, 4368 and 2531 lead an Inside Gateway train in the Feather River Canyon in this shot from my collection. There is no town listed on the slide. I either traded for or bought this slide years ago and there is no photographer listed on it. By the time I made my way west to see the BN Alco fleet in 1979 a number of the trouble prone C636's were already parked with major problems never to run again. This pair managed to stay in service until the retirement of the Alcos in 1980. |
