| Late on a hot summer afternoon, the setting sun catches the last Sunday departure of the Johannesburg - Cape Town "Premier Classe", as it observes a speed restriction just south of Daleside station. The fresh ballast indicates where track maintenance had been in progress the entire day. The locomotives are wearing the new PRASA (Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa) blue livery. As from 1st February 2013 this train will only run once a week in each direction, with the southbound departure from Johannesburg scheduled on Thursdays. |
