| It has been a pretty bleak winter in Alaska, especially when you combine bleak weather with few trains. In fact until I took this photo I hadn't taken a photo in Alaska since sometime in November fortunately I did travel south for some sunshine. However on this day the I was lucky and had a train and sunshine. Pictured here is six Alaska Railroad SD70MACs with an empty coal train in tow rounding the curve at Girdwood. |
