Amtrak’s No. 5, the California Zephyr, climbs the Front Range of the Rockies on the morning on May 30, 2011. The fog is lifting off the Flatirons west of Plainview, Colorado, as the train threads Tunnel 3 and is about to plunge into Tunnel 4. Only 25 more tunnels to go until the Moffat Tunnel!
