| What better way to usher in Spring in Alaska than chasing a train to Whittier under sunny skies? A trio of GP40-2s leads this long freight around the bend in Rainbow as it skirts along the Turnagain Arm. Cliffs like the one on the right are the reason why there are "Watch for Falling Rocks" warning signs along the Seward Highway between Anchorage and Indian as temps this time of year bounce back and forth about the freezing mark. |
