The sleepy town of Thurmond is interrupted as an empty train of grain hoppers rumble through. One of the C&O's busiest coal producing terminals once existed here along with the dozens of men and women that helped maintain commerce in the New River valley.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
