Remarks & Notes
A unit with a dual identity crisis - in name and model designation... New England Central SD40-2 3317 arrived at Palmer, Massachusetts in the wee hours of Saturday, March 23, and was to be moved to St. Albans, Vermont, where the incorrect Indiana & Ohio logos will be replaced with New England Central logos. The model designation of SD40-2 will remain, despite being built as an EMD SD40T-2. Unit was painted at Coshocton, Ohio and was originally going to be shipped to the I&O, however has been reassigned to the NECR.

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
