| I haven't caught an OI-16 in a while, but it was good to see that Conrail still occasionally assigns a pair of former Erie Lackawanna SD45-2s to this train. OI-16 has just arrived at Port Reading after doing work at Bayway Yard a few miles to the north. The conductor is on the ground waiting to make a cut so a block of cars destined for Port Reading Yard can be set off. The train will then continue to Browns Yard on the Amboy Secondary to drop the last cut of cars before returning light to Oak Island Yard. Power today was NS 1702, NS 1701 and CSXT 6129. |
