Remarks & Notes
Running long hood forward and late, FEC 438 is the only power for the 6,549 foot long southbound FEC train 123. This train usually runs through Grant before dawn, but was delayed due to engine problems with the lead SD40-2 locomotive. The lead locomotive was removed, leaving 438 to pull the train south to Miami.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
