If you have ever done any railfanning in Barstow, then you probably have stopped at "The Barstow Station", located on E. Main street near the 15 Freeway. Many old passenger cars are built into the shops and food court, and it is located next to the Santa Fe (now BNSF) main line. The word "Barstow" is painted on the roof. A Santa Fe westbound is about the pass the station, cross over the 15 Freeway and enter the massive Barstow Yard.
