Remarks & Notes

With a mismatched 'odd couple' for power, Union Pacific's Chevron Local works its namesake refinery along Becks Hot Springs in Salt Lake City. The UPY 1448 is an EMD MP15AC, built the Southern Pacific 2719 Sept. 1975 while the UPY 569 is an EMD GP15-1 built the Missouri Pacific 1569 in July 1976.
