| With mainline dispatching woes hindering the flow of traffic on the Orin Sub, I found South Black Thunder Mine plugged with one load parked at MP 49.5 (the mainline junction), a pair of smoky SD70MACs dragging C-SBMMLT0-02A down the departure lead, and a third train about 20 cars into the loading process (its headlight is visible just above the first parked car in front of the silo). The overcast morning skies cast an unusual pall over this wintry scene. |
