Remarks & Notes
When the Rio Grande depot at Provo was demolished late in 1986, a tiny wooden shack was placed in the parking lot, serving as the new waiting room for Amtrak patrons. I doubt these folks were all that impressed with the new accommodations. The shack would eventually be replaced with a tiny glass transit shelter with a pay phone and a pushbutton activated heater. Only the finest for a city with a population of 115,000 people.
