Remarks & Notes
How's this for a heritage paint scheme? When the Cass line was saved for use as a tourist railroad, it ran one trip (in 1961) for the NRHS, with both Shay locomotives used that day lettered for the "Cass, Greenbrier, Cheat, & Bald Knob Scenic Railway." Thankfully that unwieldy mouthful was later shortened to "Cass Scenic Railroad." In honor of the railroad's 50th anniversary, Phil Martin, James Newhouse, Tim Martin, and others collaborated to create this magnetic "heritage" lettering for engine No. 4. Looks great, guys!

An attempt to put the best picture of engines that represent each of America's railroads. When a better picture of an engine/type is found, it will be added.
