| What you see is a small portion of the backhead of Western Maryland Shay 6 as it operates over the rails at Cass Scenic Railroad. Every oil can in this photo was used on a different location of the locomotive. This locomotive still in operation was built by Lima in 1945 she was the last shay built and the second largest made. Weighing in at 162 tons this truly a shay to see.. |
