| The 1500 Volt DC electric locomotive E-4002 from the Compagnie du Midi has been built in 1922 by the Compagnie Électrique de France in Tarbes. The original painting was "porcelain white". These locomotives pulled the first 1500 Volt trains in France from Tarbes to Pau in 1922. They later became the SNCF BB 1600 class.The maximum speed of these locomotives was 70 km/h. |
