| An ICE2 half set is about to pass Friedrichstrasse station forming the 14.37 Berlin Ost to Dusseldorf and Cologne service. It will stop at the Hauptbahnhof before continuing on its way. In the background is the Berlin Fernsehturm, built by the DDR regime and I believe the highest building in Germany. Much to its builders dismay when the sun shines on it, as it is on this sunny day, there formes the pattern of a cross. This has been called the Pope's revenge on the communist government! |
