Remarks & Notes

At 9:40am, a three-plus hour late Coast Starlight rolls across the Dry Creek Trestle among the lava lands of Mount Shasta. A normal crew change would've occurred at K-Falls but due to the delays they were dog caught at Black Butte instead. Engineer George Landrock tooted our group up as the train passed by.
