Remarks & Notes
All clear to shove back! Brakeman Andrew Altemus looks onward as Caboose C149 clears a farm crossing. C149 is special because it's not only a historic Erie Railway item, it's our engine away from the engine. C149 is equipped with a FRED, Ditch Lights and horn system so we can shove back without running a locomotive around.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
