Amtrak No. 5, the California Zephyr, leaves Clay, Colorado, on the climb up the Front Range of the Rockies on the morning of June 13, 2011. The mesa that Big 10 Curve is laid out on can be seen directly above the train, with the hopper car windbreak barely visible now due to all the tree growth around it.
