Remarks & Notes 
A new Cryo-Trans mechanical refrigerator car takes a break at UP North Yard in Salt Lake City. The CRYX 5825 was manufactured by Greenbrier of Lake Oswego, Oregon in Feb. 2013. The car is 72 feet in length with a capacity of 7,765 cubic feet. It features the latest refrigeration technology including two-way GPS satellite transponders, solar panels, accelerometers, and energy-saving hybrid reefer units. Cryo-Trans rosters a fleet of 1,188 privately owned, mechanically refrigerated railcars.
