Remarks & Notes
FEPASA freight train ("X-10") within minutes of start traveling from Teno to Alameda, Santiago. This locomotive is E-3214, electric locomotive of Italian origin. Built especially for the railroads of Chile by the Italian consortium "Breda Marelli" in Milan - Italy. They were 34 locomotives in operation in the early 1960s for "FFCC del E". Wonderful machines of 3600 HP. He became known both in Chile and abroad as the "Sophia Loren", for its beautiful curves and Italian origin, in honor of the beautiful and curvy actress. Currently there are only five locomotives operated by FEPASA for cargo transport.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
