| The classic publicity view of the Schynige Platte Bahn (SPB), often used on posters, postcards and in brochures. The Riggenbach system cogwheel mountain railway was opened in 1893 and electrified in 1914. Locomotive He 2/2 # 16 from 1910 (former Wengernalpbahn # 56) with cars B49 and B50 going down to Wilderswil, in the background the triumvirate Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. |
