The Libby Logger: BNSF Railway GP39E No. 2767 leads a modern day version of what was locally known as the "Libby Logger" through Lupfer, Mont. on the afternoon of July 25, 2013. At one time, Burlington Northern dispatched a local from Whitefish to serve the logging operations and mines in Lincoln County, near Libby. Today, logging is a thing of the past in the area, but the local still heads up to Stryker twice a week to pick up cars from the Mission Mountain Railroad.
