Remarks & Notes

During the 1970's, the leadership of Tom Moore was less than stellar as far as track maintenance was concerned. As a results, scenes such as this were common, and cost the railroad a lot of money. 35mm slide from my collection, photo taken by Harlan K. Lane. Any info from the Clinchfield Mafia as to the specifics of this accident are welcomed.
