Remarks & Notes

On Sunday, August 11, a FCRD loaded coal train coming from the CSX interchange derailed just before the Bonneview Ave. railroad crossing. A total of six hoppers derailed, one of which turned over 180 degrees, and one of which landed on its side. The four other derailed hoppers did not loose any coal at all and were re-railed on Monday in less than four hours. In this picture the first hopper is being lifted back onto the tracks by two heavy cranes.
