Remarks & Notes 
In the last years of the Clinchfield, the railroad acquired 3 transfer cabooses. These were used mainly on mine runs and were beneficial due to the large platform that made protecting shoves safer for the crews and public. 35mm slide from my collection, photo by Bill Folsom.
