Remarks & Notes |
Making its debut on RP.net is this interesting locomotive. Built by Heisler Locomotive Works in Erie in 1937, this fireless locomotive ran on superheated water. It worked for the Cleveland Illuminating Company until 1973 when it was donated to the museum. The locomotive was recently repainted for the event, and we see it here with Viscose 6. It can still be operated by using compressed air. |
