Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific's Sandy Local crosses the stylish Art Deco State Street overpass in Midvale on January 26, 1989. The UP 122 is a B23-7, built the Missouri Pacific 4622 by GE in Oct. 1978. Within 10 years, this bridge would feel the rumble of new Siemens SD-100 light rail vehicles whizzing by at 55 mph.
