Remarks & Notes

A former Boston & Maine 250 ton crane sits idle on the siding in Hemstreet Park. The wreck train was brought out in the wake of a derailment that occurred on February 7, 2013, on the Rotterdam Branch of Pan Am Railways. The wreck train sat in this location for several weeks and was never sent to the scene of the derailment.
