The Empire Builder: Amtrak's No. 8, the Empire Builder, rolls east through Browning, Mont. on Aug. 25, 2013. The second unit is No. 184, which sports Amtrak's Phase IV heritage scheme. Smoke from wildfires in western Montana obscures the Rocky Mountain front and Glacier National Park in the background.
