Remarks & Notes |
Preserved railmotor NPF621 and diving trailer NTC721 wait in the loop at Gulgong for the return of patrons on a private charter from the Newcastle area to return from sightseeing so they can travel home down the scenic Ulan line. 621/721 were built by the New South Wales Government Railways Chullora workshops in Sep 1961 and were the first of a series of two car DMU's that replaced steam hauled suburban services in the Newcastle area, their construction is aircraft style aluminium body on a steel underframe. |
