Remarks & Notes

A young boy admires a restored relic from an era just before his. The One Spot was on an excursion on L&N rails with one of the helper B-units. Note the 2 whistles on the cab of Number 1, George Hatcher was known for playing with the whistles on excursions to appeal to the crowds trackside. 35mm slide from my collection, photo by Elwood McEllroy.
