Remarks & Notes
C&O U25B No. 8107 was positioned for load testing in Clifton Forge, VA on July 28, 1979. At the time, U25Bs were dropping like flies, with plenty of them retired and stored at Clifton Forge. I guess they thought they might get a little more time out of No. 8107. A sign on the test rack warns employees to wear ear protection. Hmmm. Something tells me that I would have enjoyed it.
