The very first journey of FEC 436 and 425 over the Jax Drawbridge in Downtown Jacksonville was more interesting than you would expect. Along with the two freshly painted GP40's went four more specialties. First behind the norm FEC 414 was the red Genset engine PRLX 2002, which will most likely be tested again on the FEC line. Behind her was carried PRLX 2, which is going to Miami for shipping to Tasmania, in Australia. According to RP.net member Stu Levene, 17 of these units were ordered. Next up was PRLX 4300, the only PR43C with the large Progress Rail symbol painted on it's side. Finally, the two FEC engines repainted to show FEC's support for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation of North Florida. View Photo ID 452990 to see the locomotives before they were handed to the FEC.
