Remarks & Notes
A number of stored locomotives and cabooses of various eras of the Milwaukee Road's history await disposition along shops road just east of the Wheel House and under the 35th Street Viaduct. Milwaukee County Stadium looms large in the back round just beyond the freight car shops and the Bluemound Yard.

There are times when many engines, cars or cabooses are concentrated in a location. Such sites are for storage, economic reasons, active power needs or for rebuilding. For others, wear and tear have brought their usefulness to and end.
