Actually these weather conditions are not that bad, since usually the area around the Torneträsk does not see the worst weather - That happens near Riksgränsen and Björnfjell. In fact, on this day it was so bad up there that the road to Narvik ended up closed for one and a half days (the closest alternative route is a detour of about 800 km), and the railway line for about half a day.
