Remarks & Notes
All the appeal autumn in Northern New England offers to the railfan is on display in this night photo of SLR 393 passing through Gorham, NH. Elderly but well maintained diesels running through villages with their white church steeples contrasting with fall foliage colors the region is famed for! One northbound passes this classic scene during each weekdays twenty four hrs. Luckily for me........393 runs in the middle of the night! Tonight, GP 40-2 3008 leads a pair of GP 40-3s and a pair of Road Slugs in this scene captured at 02:06.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
