England's latest railway opened today. set close to the historic town of Alnwick the line will run on the old track bed to Alnmouth where it meets the main line from London kings Cross. As Alnwick castle was used for scenes in harry Potter movies, it means that, in years to come when the track is finally connected, it will be possible to buy a ticket from the station at Kings Cross for Hogwarts school (akaAlnwick). Inside the cab for the second trip of the day and the signals are already set for a return journey!!
