Threading the Tunnel District
A westbound Union Pacific coal empty threads the tunnel east of Crescent, Colorado, on October 26, 1999. In this view the train is exiting Tunnel 12, and curving through Tunnels 13 and 14, while lead locomotive EMD SD9043MAC No. 8284 is about to enter Tunnel 15.
