Remarks & Notes

Under streaking stars at Lombard, Montana, a westbound BNSF manifest freight curves under the abandoned Milwaukee Road Pacific Extension bridge over the Missouri River and former NP/BN, now Montana Rail Link, on the night of September 16, 2012. MRL removed the through girder bridge directly above the main line and siding, and the headlights of the westbound nicely illuminate the abutments that no longer have a job to do. The exposure for this scene was just over 45 minutes.
